I bought this Projector for class room usage, when i was testing it on wall I was amazed by the picture quality, its nothing like the old projectors that we used to see in schools, then I have tried it on a white board in stead of the Beige walls and that was another WOW!! With this ViewSonic PJD5123 projector I didnt see much difference if the room was dark or lights were on!! The colors are beautiful and picture is very clear, I even played a video on it and it was like watching TV. I am wondering if LCD TVs will exist in the future since the projectors quality has improved this much. *** For people who might complain that it doesnt have an HDMI, go ahead and buy the other Viewsonic model for double the price and it will have an HDMI with same other features.

I hooked this ViewSonic PJD5123 projector up to my laptop in my bedroom to watch movies. I haven’t bought a screen yet, but just on the wall the picture quality and size are very good. Picture size is 77 inches from top left corner to bottom right corner when about 10 feet from the wall. Very clear at night, and good during the day. I have floor to ceiling windows in my bedroom so quality is better at night due to less light pollution.
